Chapters auto-detected

AI reads headings and structure.

Opens in the editor

Ready to edit, refine, and re-export.

Three ways to import

Pick whichever is closest to where you are:

  • New Book menu: click "New Book" in the top right, then "Import content".
  • Import Content tile: on the Home tab, click the "Import Content" tile.
  • Drag and drop: drop the PDF onto the AI prompt box on the Home tab.

What happens next

Inkfluence reads the PDF, detects chapter breaks (a mix of headings and AI), and opens the new book in the editor with the text pulled in. Larger PDFs can take a moment. Inkfluence-exported PDFs re-import particularly cleanly because we recognise our own export format.
